New Play Equipment for Local Parks

Around 12 local parks will see better play equipment over the next year as the Lib Dem majority on the Borough Council approves a program of works.

The improvements will see new equipment for some parks and older equipment replaced. A further 9 parks will see play surfaces repaired or improvements to benches and signage.

Timescales are subject to weather and contractors and the works are usually funded through a combination of “106” money from housing developments and capital receipts (such as disposing of the old council offices at Bushloe House).
